Excellent!

I had a Zyliss spinner for 30+ years and all is still good shape but the cord .,.It finally gave out. Why would I think of any. Other kind of spinner?

Wedding gift

I especially like that the outer container has no holes- you can spin this out side of the the sink and not get water everywhere!

Went to many stores...

...and none offered a salad spinner as good as our old Zyliss that broke after 20? years. So we ordered this one direct. Seems even better made than the old one

The Best You Can Buy...

When the teeth on my 20 year old zyliss finally wore down after constant use the pulling and elastic mechanisms still functioning just fine BTW, there was no question where I would turn for a new one. I'll admit its nice to have a new one, but was reluctant to part with such an outstanding piece of culinary equipment. Nice updates!

My second Zyliss salad spinner!

A friend recommended a Zyliss salad spinner and after 25 years of constant use I needed a new one! I'm very happy with my new Zyliss Easy Spin Salad Spinner. I'll have to will it to someone since I'm 81:.

THE Best

No other salad spinner matches this. Big basket easy, pull string, brakes and now, lid disassembly for easy cleaning! Also durable! I had the last one for over 10 years of constant use and mass abuse! I could never use another!

I absolutely love my salad spinner. Unfortunately my replacement just arrived with a chip in the lid. The last time i co tastes customer Service they were awesome. I am waiting for their response for this problem. But the product itself works great

Correct title

This product is better than very good. I've had one for many years and it finally gave out. Had to get the same one - though this is an upgraded version. Can't live without it.

I much prefer an older Zylis model

Why complicate an excellent product with unnecessary extra parts? I loved my 10 years old Zyliss salad spinner with snap-on lid. Sadly the string finally broke. I cannot see the point of adding an extra plastic part to fluff the lettuce which takes up space. Wish I could still find the replacement string-pull lid for my older model.

Minor changes to this design

This product is still one of my favorite salad spinners out there. The triangular handle design is a little strange as you have to flip it up to put it on the right direction to spin it. I understand why they did this and I don't mind using it this way.

Most effective I've found

A guest in my house broke the pull string on this spinner - a problem. However, waiting to replace it I've used two other spinners and neither do the job this one does. It is still my favorite.

Love this product

Love this product! We bought one, maybe five years ago, eat salads every night so used it hard. Was amazed at how it out-performed and outlasted every other salad spinner we've used. Finally after hundreds and hundreds of uses the string mechanism detached and couldn't be repaired. So happy to find my local hardware store still carried this product. We bought it again and are contemplating going back for another (just in case it's unavailable five years from now).

Works Fine

Our first Zyliss salad spinner lasted about 20 years until the pull rope broke. If it were a mower or chain saw, I would have installed a new rope. Couldn't figure out how to access this rope, so we bought a new one. The new one is more complicated. It introduced a fourth piece to insert between the basket and the lid which involves more complexity in seating the pieces. Additionally, I keep getting the sound of stripping gears when I pull it. I don't think that is a good sign and don't expect to get 20 years out of the "improved" version. The stop button seems more an affectation than functional. It works fine, but it's more complex than it needs to be.

I got this as a Christmas present about five years ago. It works to spin dry vegetables and fruits! I absolutely love it!

Spins too slow

We had their previous model with a pull cord and loved it, and it lasted for many years. We had replaced with a push apparatus which activated a spin that we were able to find at Bed Bath & Beyond, but that proved worthless. I googled the company and found they still made one, so ordered two. This is better than the BB&B model, but not much. I miss the old pull cord, which you could get going really fast and the salad leaves came out totally dry. But I imagine there was a cleanliness aspect to the cord which caused them to redesign it. Too bad.

Well made spinner.

This was purchased to replace the identical model which we already had (and broke -- our fault). I like this spinner overall; it's the best one I've tried. Personally I'd like it to be a little bigger, as I often have too many greens to wash and dry in this unit in just one go -- I have to do it in batches. Otherwise it's recommended to anyone in need of a well-made spinner.

Beats xox

Love it. Beats the XOX one by far. We have them both. So much easier to pull and spin as opposed to pushing, and the bowl is a much nicer design. Can take apart to totally clean. I purchased a second one in case they stop making them. Had my old one for ten years before the handle broke.

Salad enthusiast-approved

It does the job! I had an older model of this spinner for almost 10 years, and I loved it. This one is very similar. I'm not crazy about the new handle design, but it does what it is supposed to. I hope to get another 9+ years out of this one!

Cute and Functional!!!

I got this salad spinner for my daughter for her apartment. First of all, it is so cute and cool looking! The size is perfect so you can use it for large salads. It spins easily and removes the excess liquid. It also can be used to store your salad in the refrigerator. It is made very well and is very sturdy. It seems like it will last a long time. It has been washed in the dishwasher and by hand with no issues. This is a quality product and I highly recommend it.

AWESOME AND EASY TO USE

This has to be one of the greatest inventions ever!! It is soooo easy to use as well as to clean so that's a bonus. What I absolutely love about this product is the way it keeps my salad fresh in a few simple steps. With all of the scary environmental things that can easily get on our food and harm us if not washed properly, I often tend to over wash my produce which makes my lettuce, spinach, arugula, etc soggy and prone to go bad faster. This product has saved the day providing me with the ability to cleanse my food and allowing it to dry fast and easily!

Easy Salad Spinner

Overall, I like the Zyliss Easy Salad Spinner. It works well, easy to pull the string to activate the spinner and the cleanup is simple as well. I have head salad spinners before and I am a little cautious that this one has the pulley to activate the spinner. Hoping that it works for a long time and the pulley does not break. So far it works great!

Best Salad Spinner!

I've had several and they all seem to break easily. Not only is this a great salad spinner but it is so well made. I like the mechanism for spinning using a pull string instead of having to turn a knob around the top. So much easier to operate.

My first salad spinner, and I'm a fan!

I've never had a salad spinner before the Zyliss Easy Spin. It is straightforward to use, with a retractable cord that is connected to a wheel type thing. I tossed my lettuce in here after washing and was amazed by how non-soggy my lettuce was! It was crisp and fresh days later after storing it in the fridge. There's a grippy on the bottom too, for if you get a bit aggressive with spinning. Overall an awesome product that I highly recommend, even if it's a bit more on the expensive side compared to others - the quality is worth it..

Easy and Convenient!!

Making salad has never been easier!! I used to loathe washing lettuce, drying it, and then chopping it, just to make a salad that we would quickly devour. I cannot get over how much more pleasurable and easier it is to now dry my lettuce! I simply "wash" my lettuce, pop it in the spinner, put the top down, and spin away. With minutes, I am able to wash and dry an entire head of lettuce. There is no clean up or mess, other than quickly washing the salad spinner. The counters remain dry as all excess water ends up in the spinner. With a large family, I try to be cognizant of time as well as health. With products like this, I'm able to stay on top of both!! Highly recommended!!!
